About TPU

TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a flexible, rubber-like filament that can stretch 300-600% before breaking. It is the material of choice for phone cases, gaskets, wheels, vibration dampeners, and anything that needs to bend, flex, or absorb impact. TPU must be printed slowly, especially on Bowden extruders, and retraction should be minimized to prevent jams. Direct drive extruders handle TPU much more reliably than Bowden setups.

Dry filament before use: 70°C for 7 hours.
