About HIPS

HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) is a dissolvable support material designed to pair with ABS. It dissolves in D-Limonene, a citrus-based solvent, leaving clean supported surfaces on ABS prints. HIPS is significantly cheaper than PVA and has lower moisture sensitivity, making it easier to store. It can also be used as a lightweight standalone printing material and is easy to paint and post-process.

Enclosure recommended for HIPS printing.
